What is Daily Bread Living?

Living healthy on a low budget is a challenge for anyone.  Add a couple young kids, a small business, and an income of less than 25k a year and you’re in my world; challenge becomes understatement of the century!  At least it used to be until I realized something, or a few 'somethings'. 

Being healthy doesn’t need to be hard.  Having young kids around doesn’t have to be a constant, “don’t touch that!” or “you can help mix this, but don’t spill the bat…ter.” Living a healthy life can be simple, and for those days when it’s not – I hope we can use this blog to edify one another in laughter by our trials.

Daily Bread Living is a blog that encourages you how to raise a healthy family while taking care of your home without the battle... (or at least giving you a little more armor to take on the battle.)

We’ve done our research of dehydrators and it’s been told by multiple companies that the Excalibur is the machine you want if you plan to dehydrate food!

Google dehydrator and you will find the Excalibur is across the board #1.  I contacted American Harvest to see if they’d take on the Excalibur and they wouldn’t even get back to me.

Unfortunately, David and I purchased and Excalibur 9-tray dehydrator for another company and received a damaged product and EXTREMELY terrible customer service. Really bad.

Wanna know how bad?  We sent them these pictures of our received product and they weren’t even sure if it was supposed to look like that or not.

Tray marks and chipped covers are not what is supposed to arrive brand new to my front door.  We returned the product immediately and will never recommend anyone to that company.

Cultures for Health offers AMAZING customer service.  The staff is so personable and extremely informative.  They know what they are talking about and if you need culture starters or dehydrators or even a yogurt maker, sprouting and fermenting items… this is where to shop! TRUST ME!!!

Oh yeah, did I ever tell you about the time I went to two different health food stores to find starters for different things and they didn’t even carry it.  Save yourself the car ride with two kids and order what you need from them!

AND – they have How-To videos.  These are amazing!
