Giveaway #5: Tropical Traditions Oxygen Bleach

Oxygen Bleach: My new favorite item in the house.

In between packing, moving, traveling to Kansas, taking care of the kids and….the laundry… somehow a chocolate ball got into the laundry of whites.

(Which by the way is a lot better than what I thought it was….since we started cloth diapering, I thought perhaps a dirty diaper didn’t get rinsed out.)

I’ll count my blessings…

Anyway…. after I realized what the real situation was, I set the pile of thankfully chocolate spotted clothes aside and awaited my Tropical Traditions Oxygen Bleach to come in the mail!

Seriously this stuff is amazing.  I wish I had my camera accessible at the time so I could show you the before and after.  You would NEVER have known there was a chocolate mess.

So I brought some over to my mother-in-laws.  She tried it on her dirty shower curtains that she’s been wanting to make brighter, and we were both amazed at the difference it made verses using regular detergent alone.

I almost feel tempted to try and make things dirty around the house so I can feel excited all over again at how awesome this oxygen bleach works!

What else makes this stuff amazing?

• It can’t destroy our clothing like chlorine bleach! (We’ve all done a load of colors that turned polk-a-dot)
• It is completely safe for the environment
• You can use Oxygen Bleach on laundry AND your life:

1. Kitchen: plastic ware, dishes, dish rags, drains and disposals (come on now, who hasn’t gone to the store to buy an orange to stick down your disposal because it smelt so bad… or maybe I’m the only one…hmmm.)
2. Bathroom: septic systems, toilets, bathtubs, showers and sinks
3. Yard: Garbage cans, lawn furniture (especially that plastic pool furniture,) and all weather carpet
4. Household: De-stain and deodorize carpets, acoustic tiles, mops, mildew removal, baseboard cleaner, flood damage, cat litter boxes, after-birth mess (trust me.)
5. Camping: stinky coolers, boat sails, camping gear, ropes, tents, tarps, etc.
6. Wood Decks: My understanding is that oxygen bleach can make your wood deck look almost new!!  It will remove barbeque grease, leaves fallen on the deck stains, mold and mildew and faded boards.
