Daily Bread Living bio picture

What is Daily Bread Living?

Living healthy on a low budget is a challenge for anyone.  Add a couple young kids, a small business, and an income of less than 25k a year and you’re in my world; challenge becomes understatement of the century!  At least it used to be until I realized something, or a few 'somethings'.

Being healthy doesn’t need to be hard.  Having young kids around doesn’t have to be a constant, “don’t touch that!” or “you can help mix this, but don’t spill the bat…ter.” Living a healthy life can be simple, and for those days when it’s not – I hope we can use this blog to edify one another in laughter by our trials.

Daily Bread Living is a blog that encourages you how to raise a healthy family while taking care of your home without the battle... (or at least giving you a little more armor to take on the battle.)

Giveaway #9: CK BAKERY SHOP

*Giveaway now closed*

If you’ve been where I live lately, recipes are a terrible idea around here.

I haven’t been able to follow ONE recipe correctly.

Actually just yesterday I had this craving for chocolate chip cookies so I got out the recipe card and everything was going smoothly, suddenly I see cinnamon and ground cloves next on the list.  I didn’t question it much because everyone around here cooks all the time and makes delicious food…

BUT! Lo and behold while the kids were helping me, APPARENTLY the recipe card had gotten turned over and right in the middle had started following the recipe for Ginger Snaps.

They turned out terrible.

That is why I love the CK BAKERY SHOP.

Actually, just one of the reasons.  They bake a delicious cake right in the jar seal it shut and send it wherever you like!

They bake it for you.

Seal it for you.

Pack it for you.

Ship it for you.

All for 4 bucks + shipping.

Really?  What get’s better than that! Especially when you have young children around.

Another great thing about the CK Bakery Shop is that they ship to AFO/APO addresses.  So if your dear loved one is in the military it’s no problem.

PLUS – when it get’s there it will still taste as fresh as when you made it.

How do I know?  Because Kim shared her story with me a while back and told me her personal experiences about it.  Here’s a summary of it here:

“I first started making jar cakes five years ago when my husband was deployed overseas.  I wanted a way to send a little piece of home over to him and his fellow soldiers.  The jar cakes were the perfect solution.  They ship great and they maintain that “just out of the oven” freshness for a long time.”

CK Bakery Shop is offering 2 readers a cake-in-in-a-jar of delicious natural ingredients that tastes homemade.  If you’re like me and find yourself short on time, but try to squeeze in making a home cooked treat… relax and let CK Bakery Shop take care of it for you!

Perhaps you would enjoy a Dark Chocolate Cherry Cake or Pineapple Upside Down or the Almond Cherry Cake.  You pick!

If you would like win two homemade cakes to send to two of your loved ones… please fill out the google doc attached in the following link:
