This past year my husband has become sort of a survivalist.

My Royal Berkey arrived the week we moved and since we’re all packed, I am unable to offer you my first hand experience of the Royal Berkey, however I can give you all the information you need about this gem!

• The Royal Berkey holds 3.25 gallons

• The system holds up to four filters, but can operate fully on only two filters.

• With 2 filters in, it can purify 4 gallons of water in one hour.  With all four filters in – it can purify 8 gallons of water.

• Each filter purifies up to 3000 gallons of water which means when you have two filters in there it can purify up to 6000 gallons of water…. so say you use 10 gallons of water per week, that equals 600 weeks which is over 11 years of clean water ON TWO FILTERS ALONE.

• You don’t need any electricity, tools, plumbing or water pressure to set up your Berkey.  It is super super easy, actually Noah – who just turned two… put it together for us! It’s REALLY easy.

• The Royal Berkey can be used at home or during camping or emergencies and would be big enough for the whole family.  There are several other Berkeys and if you are interested I highly suggest looking at this comparison chart they have provided for you.
